About Us: Many Hands Art Show and Silent Auction

Presented by Partners for Community Preservation, this fourth
annual fundraising event features the exhibition and silent auction of
multimedia works by 48 artists, most with studios in — or personal
connections to — the Upper Perkiomen Valley region of Eastern
Pennsylvania and its surrounding communities. Proceeds support a
scholarship program and environmental education, preservation and
service projects, including "Mini Hands at Many Hands."

The Many Hands Art Show and Silent Auction opens on October
16th at 7 PM with an evening reception at the Schwenkfelder Library
and Heritage Center in Pennsburg. The show offers a wide
assortment of media including glass, ceramics, wood, metal
sculptures, oil and watercolor paintings, jewelry and pencil
drawings. Admission is free and open to the public.

Many Hands continues through November 6th, the evening of the
closing reception. The reception begins at 7 PM and ends at 10 PM.
Written bids on artwork may be submitted until 9 PM when the
bidding concludes and each piece is awarded to the highest bidder.

The regularly-scheduled gallery hours at the Schwenkfelder Library
and Heritage Center are: Sunday: 1 to 4 PM; Monday: closed;
Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 9 AM to 4 PM; Thursday: 9 AM to 8
PM; Saturday: 10 AM to 3 PM.
