Many Hands Art Show and Silent Auction
Bidding Rules and Registration
1. All buyers must register and use the bidding number assigned by Partners for Community Preservation. This
will become your permanent number and may be used to place bids for artwork displayed in the Many Hands
exhibit from Oct. 16 to Nov. 6, 2004. Interested buyers may register for bidding numbers at the front desk located
in the lobby of the Schwenkfelder Library & Heritage Center.

2. All buyers must be over 18 years of age to register and participate in the bidding process.

3. Minimum opening bids are listed on the bidding cards accompanying each piece of artwork available for auction.

4. When the current bid is less than $100.00 the minimum raise is $5.00. When the current bid is $100.00 and over
the minimum raise is $10.00. When the current bid is $500.00 and over the minimum raise is $20.00.

5. Any bid that is not entirely and legibly entered when the bidding closes at 9:00 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 6, 2004,
will not be considered a valid bid.

6. Once a bid has been posted it is considered a legal and binding contract between the bidder and Partners for
Community Preservation. No bid, once posted, may be deleted, changed or otherwise altered. Anyone who deletes,
changes, or alters any posted bid is subject to immediate loss of bidding privileges. Under extreme and extenuating
circumstances, as judged by Partners for Community Preservation, Partners may allow a deletion, change or
alteration of a bid. Such deletion, change, or alteration must be approved and initialed by an authorized
representative of Partners for Community Preservation.

7. Bidding will conclude at 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 6, 200 (during the closing reception). The highest
bidders at that time will be awarded the artwork. Payment and pick up of purchased artwork is due at the
conclusion of the auction. Please make financial arrangements in advance if you are unable to attend the closing
reception.

8. Please inspect the artwork in advance as there are NO RETURN PRIVILEGES. Any failure to comply with the
rules is cause for immediate disqualification from the bid process.
